WDI “gets it done” as the designated non-profit partner for both the City and County – providing a unified voice on behalf of our diverse business and property owners. Our 38-member Board of Directors and staff work tirelessly to promote economic growth and development in Downtown, making this a better place to live, work, shop, dine, visit, play and invest.
What will my Contributions Fund?
Your contributions allow us to continue initiatives to grow the local economy. These include helping business owners address growth and operating issues, encouraging economic programs for film and historic preservation projects, monitoring and recommending public safety improvements, informing residents and visitors about activities, events and services available in Downtown, and many other programs.
How does WDI Operate?
WDI’s economic development efforts are guided by an Annual Work Plan that is a collaborative effort of the organization’s board of directors. Your generosity can ensure our continued success and the sustained operation of these Downtown development efforts.
