Wilmington Downtown, Inc. (WDI) is proud to announce organizations selected to participate in the charity wristband program for the Downtown Sundown Concert Series. WDI received a record 41 applications from organizations this year. All applications were carefully reviewed by the selections committee and were judged on many different criteria. After careful consideration, 17 organizations were chosen and assigned dates. Please see the list below.

How does the program work?

WDI will sell wristbands for $1.00 per person at each concert, and split the proceeds with local charities and nonprofit organizations each week up to $1,000. Each organization agrees to provide four volunteers at the concert on the date selected. WDI raised over $8,500 for various organizations in 2011.
