General Event Information

What:

The 2011 Downtown Sundown Concert Series is coordinated by Wilmington Downtown, Inc. (WDI). We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the economic growth and development of downtown Wilmington. Funds raised at the event go toward our organization to help us accomplish our goals and carry out our mission. This is the sixth year the event is being held.

The event features a variety of original and cover bands, both local and regional. Beer, wine and food are available during the performances. The event takes place either rain or shine.

When:

The event is held on Friday nights from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Dates for this year's series are May 27, 2011 through September 2, 2011.

Where:

Downtown Sundown takes place in Riverfront Park, located on North Water Street between Princess and Market Streets.
