Basic Photography Classes with Ed Zirkle

If you're looking for a more satisfying experience, professional photographers Jamie Moncrief and Ed Zirkle will be teaching basic photography classes at the Bellamy Mansion. We know you want more than finding the button to turn on the camera and pressing 'shoot', so Jamie and Ed will teach you about camera settings, focus, shutter speeds, camera flash, lighting and use of your camera in conjunction with your computer. They will also discuss what makes a good picture, along with software and basic editing. The cost of each class is $35 dollars with $5 going to the Bellamy Mansion. Jamie and Ed have over 50 years combined experience in photography and photojournalism. Ed is currently a professional photographer in Wilmington and Jamie is Director of Photographic Services at UNCW.
