Fire and Spice Gourmet Kitchen Shoppe Grand Opening

Date: Tue, May 4th 2010

The addition of upscale kitchen items adds new flavor to this downtown classic.

The “Fire and Spice Gourmet Kitchen Shoppe”, located on the parking lot level of the Cotton Exchange, will host it’s grand re-opening celebration on Tuesday May 4th at 9:45am. There will be much to see and do during the event, including a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by Mayor Bill Saffo.

On this exciting day, shoppers will also be able to enjoy coffee and breakfast items in the morning hours or a wine tasting highlighting regional wines and food samples scheduled for the afternoon. “The new space holds so much promise”, commented one frequent consumer, “I can’t wait to take advantage of all the new kitchen accessories that are available.”  To celebrate the event, a 10% discount will be given on all products made in the Cape Fear region.

Along with their impressive selection of sauces, seasonings, spices and a large variety of food items made in North Carolina, Fire and Spice have added kitchen gadgets, cookware, tabletop appliances, linens, wine racks, wine accessories and food items created by Paula Deen and Alessi.

The shop’s summer hours are 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday and 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday.
