His name is Victor, and he needs our help. Victor is 9 months old, his family is from El Salvador, and he is dying. With our help and some solid fund raising at this years event, we'll be able to fly him to the USA and get him the treatments he desperately needs. We are probably the last hope for him and his family, so lets do all we can to save his life. Come down on the 24th and support! MUSIC: ASG Almost Kings Damona Waits Cool Kid COllective HVF2 Rundown Hot Rod ART: A series of billboards will be built near the main stage in the concert area of the park. A team of freelance artists will each paint a large section of wall throughout the day. You'll be able to buy their art after the event to help with the charity donation. SKATE: A skateboard competition will be held during the concert. A condensed skate area will be constructed on the opposite side of the artist area near the stage. Between 5 and 10 skate teams from the Wilmington area will compete in the contest area throughout the day. If you come to watch the skate comp, you are helping to save a child's life. Last Year: We saved Patrick's life. He's an 18 year old kid from Uganda. We flew him from the Republic of Uganda in Africa to Chapel Hill, NC for life saving treatment. Patrick's heart condition, severe pulmonary valve stenosis, required multiple surgeries to correct his defective heart. At age 18, he was slowly dying with limited blood flow to his heart. His outlook was bleak because he didn't have the money for the needed treatments, and that's why we picked him for our LIVE FOR LIFE event in NC. A few thousand dollars literally saved his life. We raised the money, got him here, and he received the treatments he needed. He slowly recovered, and is now back in Uganda getting his life together with his family. His first step was to get back to school, which is where he is now. Thanks to last year's event, Live for Life #1, Patrick has a second chance to make the most out of his life. Lets make it happen again this year. Come down on the 24th and lets have a good time!
