Coastal Cupcakes and The Fuzzy Peach Announce Sweet Partnership

Wilmington, NC – Local staples Coastal Cupcakes and The Fuzzy Peach are teaming up to offer a new twist on their desserts. Both offer unconventional treats to satisfy any sweet tooth in Wilmington. Currently they are launching a new layer of goodness on their already loved products.

Launching on Thursday, October 6, 2011, Coastal Cupcakes will be offering a “Fuzzy Peach” cupcake while The Fuzzy Peach will host a “Coastal Cupcake Batter” among their yogurt flavors.

Coastal Cupcakes is owned by Kristen Beckmeyer and Meredith Sullivan, graduates of UNCW and best friends who met on the track team. They opened their first location in downtown Wilmington in 2008. Jason Nista, Rocco Quaranto and Wells Struble met as college freshman at UNCW on the track team as well and went on to open The Fuzzy Peach after graduation.

Similar goals, plans, and innovative ideas have brought these thriving businesses in Wilmington together to create a partnership sweet enough for any craving.
