PRESS RELEASE

On Friday, July 15, Downtown Sundown raised $520 for UNCW's Masters of Business Administration Association while Girlz Girlz Girlz played an amazing show with an enthusiastic crowd.

The mission of the MBAA is to maximize the capabilities of members, develop solid relationships within the community, and continue to build on a reputation of integrity and professionalism to create a wealth of talented and successful MBA graduates in the Wilmington area. The MBA Association will use the funds to support the Wounded Warriors Project, which provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life.

"This was our first time working with WDI and I think our organizations can both really benefit from each other and work together to continue to improve business development in downtown Wilmington," says Anneliese Dauerer, President of the organization.

Wristbands will be sold for $1.00 per person at Downtown Sundown for the remainder of the series. WDI will be splitting the proceeds with local charities and nonprofit organizations each week up to $1,000. Please visit www.wilmingtondowntown.com for a list of charities and corresponding dates.
