Downtown Sundown Raises $900 for T.I.M. Booster

Last Friday, July 1, Downtown Sundown raised $900 for Techniques in Motion (TIM) Booster. A total of $3,890 has been raised for charitable organizations so far this summer. The proceeds raised from this concert will go toward TIM's traveling costs for dancers competing in local, regional and state competitions.

"Many of our parents and dancers have been coming to Downtown Sundown since its beginning and we are pleased to work with WDI on this opportunity," says Sandy O'Leary, Co-Coordinator for TIM Booster.

Wristbands will be sold for $1.00 per person at Downtown Sundown for the remainder of the series. WDI will be splitting the proceeds with local charities and nonprofit organizations each week up to $1,000. This Friday, July 8, proceeds will benefit Cape Fear Housing Land Trust.
