Downtown Sundown Will Support Children at Heart on August 19

Onward, Soldiers - a true American sound - will play at the Downtown Sundown Concert Series this Friday, August 19. Kersten Charlotte Capra will open at 6:00pm in Riverfront Park, followed by Onward, Soldiers at 8:00pm. This week, half of the proceeds raised from wristband sales will benefit Children at Heart (CAH) Adoption Services, Inc.
CAH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit domestic and international adoption agency. The family-run agency has only four employees in the US and also provides home study, post-placement, and post-adoption services for NY and NC residents. They have placed infants, toddlers, children to age 12, siblings, as well as handicapped children (minor to severely handicapped). CAH's humanitarian efforts to supply orphanages, children's homes, children's wards and hospitals with food, medicine, medical supplies, clothing, toys, etc. is equal to their effort to locate qualified parents for orphaned children.
