Join Us For a Kids Making It (KMI) Summer Camp

Monday July 11th – Friday July 15th go cart camp
Monday July 18th – Friday July 22nd nature woodworking camp
Monday July 25th – Friday July 29th corn hole game camp
Monday August 1st - Friday August 5th wood turning camp
Monday August 8th - Friday August 12th nature woodworking camp
Monday August 15th - Friday August 19th go cart camp

All classes will be from 9:00am to Noon

Cost: $210.00

These classes are appropriate for kids 8 –12 years (younger kids may register if accompanied by a parent or responsible adult).

Go Cart Camp: Youth will make a go cart, paint it and if time allows, they’ll ride the carts along the Riverwalk on the last day (Friday) of camp that week. Youth will also create a personalized laser engraved “license plate”.
Nature woodworking camp: Youth will build and decorate a bird house, a flower box with butterfly friendly plants, as well as learn about native birds and butterflies and their habits. Youth will laser engrave either or both projects.
Wood turning camp: Youth will learn to use a wood lathe and make a honey dipper and a bowl.
Build a corn hole game camp: Youth will build, paint and stencil a full size corn hole game, as well as make their own corn hole bags and laser engrave a sign for their game. Youth will also compete in a KMI corn hole tournament.

You can also email the form and telephone in your credit card information to hold your spot. Class size is limited and reservations will be confirmed on a first come, first serve basis with paid registration. We will contact you to confirm your acceptance so that we can plan for a fun and successful woodworking experience!
