WDI hosts Grand Opening for new downtown restaurant

Wilmington, NC – Wilmington Downtown, Inc. will be holding a Grand Opening Ceremony to commemorate the opening of a new restaurant in downtown on Tuesday, August 12th at 118 S. Front Street and will start at 8:00am.

Owen at 118 S. Front is the second downtown restaurant for Brian Mayberry who also owns The Dixie Grill on Market Street.  The menu will feature homemade fried donuts, Ken’s bagels, soups, salads, sandwiches, and fresh fish for dinner.  The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 8:00am till 10:00pm.  Owen fills the location of the former Front Street Diner.

The restaurant will be doing a soft opening on Thursday, August 7th to complete a test run of their logistics through the weekend, but is looking forward to the official Grand Opening next week.
