WDI Presents the 8th Annual Table Host Luncheon

Wilmington, NC:  Wilmington Downtown, Inc. announces its 8th Annual Table Host Luncheon. This event is the main fundraiser for Wilmington Downtown, a non-profit organization advocating planned economic growth and development in the downtown Wilmington area. Since 1977, it has served as a vehicle for community improvement and a voice for downtown businesses, residents and tourists.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 10, 2009, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

WHERE: The Cape Fear Community College Schwartz Center.

WHO: In previous years, the event has been attended by more than 500 of Wilmington’s top executives, businesspeople, merchants, and residents.  We are currently working to secure a speaker that will both interest and inspire those present at the luncheon. 

Executive Director John Hinnant says of the event, “Wilmington Downtown is excited to be continuing on our mission to advocate and promote downtown.  Also, we are proud to announce the return of several major sponsors that are signing on for another consecutive year.  This shows that the business community recognizes the effectiveness of our organization, not only for the improvements made to our downtown, but also in providing the opportunity for exposure and growth of their businesses.”
