Panel Title: Main Street, Main Stage: The District as the Destination
A thriving downtown in a smaller community or a bustling neighborhood in a metropolitan area can give a huge boost to tourism. We explore the successes and obstacles, practices and tools for developing downtown districts and the impact they have on visitors and locals alike. Highlighting the session are case studies with an expert panel in the nationwide "Main Street" methodology program.
