LOCATION: New Hanover County Library - 201 Chestnut St
Anne Clinard Barnhill, with the assistance of her Lady in Waiting, will demonstrate how a well-to-do Elizabethan Englishwoman got into all the garments and undergarments that made up her ensemble. The public is invited to this free program at New Hanover County's Main Library. Anne Barnhill fell in love with Tudor England as a teenager, when she discovered that her Shelton ancestors were very active during that period. She is the author of two historical novels set in Tudor times: AT THE MERCY OF THE QUEEN and QUEEN ELIZABETH'S DAUGHTER, as well as several contemporary books. She lives in Brunswick County. Admission to this Library program is free, and reservations are not needed. Anne Barnhill's books will be available for purchase and autographing.
