Music is the one most unifying factor in this world. Sustain with Sound Music & Arts Fest, over the past 2 years, has provided people with the resources to be involved in an enthralling and sustainable event benefiting the health of our oceans. This event brings together a community of all backgrounds and beliefs to educate themselves on the importance of protecting and preserving our environment through music and art. Artists, vendors and musicians intertwined with businesses, media and policy to provide the community with the most enjoyable way to give back to our oceans, at no cost to the planet. The entire event was made zero-waste with only compostable or recyclable objects, eliminating all single use plastic, and entirely powered through solar technology. The profits from this event have gone towards UNCW Plastic Ocean Project – whose mission is to protect and preserve the oceans with initiatives such as outreach through art, education through research, and community engagement. This year we are hoping to do the same – but bigger and better. We plan to double last years 1200 person attendance and donation. The 3rd Annual Sustain with Sound Music & Arts Fest will be the biggest and most rewarding event of the year and we hope you choose to be a part of it.
