This holiday season the legendary film comes to life on the stage of Thalian Hall with the Wilmington premier of Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS. Originally made in 1942 as Holiday Inn it was remade & retitled in 1954 starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney & Vera Ellen. It's an entertainment extravaganza with a dazzling Irving Berlin score featuring some of his greatest songs including as How Deep is the Ocean, Sisters, I Love A Piano, Count Your Blessings, Blue Skies, and of course White Christmas. You will fall in love all over again, with the Thalian Association's production of Irving Berlin's White Christmas, directed and choreographed by David T. Loudermilk with music direction by Jonathan Barber. Starring as Bob and Phil are Wilmington stage stalwarts Christopher Rickert and David Lorek, with Alecia Bell Vanderhaar and Janna Murray as the Haynes sisters. The cast of 37 also features Steve Gallian as General Henry Waverly and Michelle Reiff as his long-suffering right-hand gal.
