If you’re walking along South Front Street in Downtown Wilmington, you may be fortunate to stumble across the Enchanted Realm, a unique business which combines the art and craft of stained glass with the elegance of hand-poured soy candles. Local owner, Bill McClanahan has been honing his glass art skills for about 18 years and loves that he can service the needs of locals, visitors and clients worldwide.
Bill opened his business during the 2013 Azalea Festival. Through hard work and dedication, he has steered his business through the ups and downs of the economy and is now the only surviving stained glass business in Downtown and the surrounding area. And the shop smells good too thanks to his wife, Patricia, who makes the soy candles.
Bill does a mixture of repair work and custom-built pieces and offers studio classes for anyone who wants to learn the craft. You’ll love his amiable manner and very affordable instruction—just $10 for two hours!
Call (910) 231-1144 to find out about studio classes.
