Wilmington, NC- Wilmington Downtown, Inc. (WDI) will host a ribbon-cutting reception as part of an open house celebration for Coglin’s Wilmington, a new retro-inspired dance and nightclub located at 206 Market Street (2nd Floor). The reception & open house will be held on Wednesday, February 26, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.; the ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. and will feature Mayor Bill Saffo and other dignitaries.
Coglin’s Wilmington is owned and operated by partners Ben Yannessa and Zack T. Medford. The pair successfully opened the first Coglin’s seven years ago in Raleigh, North Carolina. For their second venture under the Coglin’s Brand, the two chose Wilmington due to their personal ties to the area. The reception is open to the public and will feature complimentary hors d’oeuvres and live music. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5.00 to benefit the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity.

Currently, the club is open Thursday- Sunday evenings with plans to expand hours of operation in the spring. The venue is available for private rental, and offers booth reservations and VIP options.
