Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Two New Shops at the Cotton Exchange: Silverhammer Design, LLC & Set Free
Wilmington, NC- Wilmington Downtown, Inc. (WDI) will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for two new shops located inside the Cotton Exchange at 312 Nutt Street. The event will be held on Monday, September 30 at 12:30 p.m. and will feature Mayor Bill Saffo and other dignitaries.
Silverhammer Design LLC specializes in industrial and modern furniture and art. The business is owned and operated by Lorrie and Dennis Brewer. Dennis makes furniture in his workshop in coastal Brunswick County, N.C. and Lorrie is an artist. After moving from the Charlotte, N.C., area last winter, they thought the time was right to add a retail component to their business.
In addition, a ceremony will also be held for Set Free, located in the Cotton Exchange at 308 Nutt Street. The shop is owned and run by Clair Beaver and her daughter Lane. Set Free sells women's and children's clothing, accessories, jewelry and home decor.
