Wilmington, NC - Wilmington Downtown, Inc. (WDI) is accepting applications for at-large positions on its 2019-2020 Board of Directors. The thirty-eight member board includes representatives of downtown businesses, civic organizations, governmental bodies, professional groups and members of the community-at-large. Experienced people with skills in business recruitment, business retention, quality of life issues, long-range urban planning, downtown promotions, events, fundraising, media relations or organizational development are encouraged to apply.
WDI's mission is to promote the economic growth and development of Downtown Wilmington. By fulfilling this mission, Downtown Wilmington is the culturally vibrant and economically prosperous center of the southeast region and is recognized nationally for its outstanding quality of life.
If you are interested in submitting your name for nomination and are willing to actively participate in a dynamic working organization, please return this form to WDI, 221 N. Front, Suite 102, Wilmington, NC 28401 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
